New Delhi, Nov 17  The central government will take all necessary steps to tackle terror, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Tuesday.

 
"Whatever steps need to be taken from the point of view of security will be taken. We will not discuss it in public," Rajnath Singh said on the sidelines of a conference here.
 
He also said that countries across the world needed to come together to fight the Islamic State as it was a global threat.
 
"IS is not a threat to any one nation. It is a threat to the whole world. All countries need to come together and fight it. India is also aware of the threat," he said.
 
The minister's statement comes in the wake of Friday's terros attacks in Paris in which 129 people were killed and over 350 injured.
