Tuljapur: Infiltrators must leave the country and the National Citizens Register (NRC) will be implemented for the purpose, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday. The president of the BJP made the announcement  at a campaign rally for the October 21 Maharashtra Assembly elections in Osmanabad district. "Before we come to ask for votes in 2024 (general elections), let me assure you that the government of the BJP will ensure that every infiltrator is expelled from the country, Congress and NCP have opposed NRC as such residents form a vote bank for these opposition parties,"  Amit Shah Said.
