New Delhi: Today, the Executive Committee of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) declared a partial roll-back of the newly proposed host fee hike and other provisions. Nonetheless, no change in mess or service charges were declared in JNU's new fee structure. Not everyone has been appeased by the move, and JNU students continue to protest.  Education Secretary, R. Subrahmanyam today tweeted: "#JNU Executive Committee announces major roll-back in the hostel fee and other stipulations. Also proposes a scheme for economic assistance to the EWS students. Time to get back to classes. @HRDMinistry"
