A terrorist hideout was busted early on Wednesday and a cache of arms and ammunition seized in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, the security personnel informed.

On intelligence lead, a joint operation was launched by Rashtriya Rifles and the state police in Nilman forest of Raigarh area, a defence spokesman said.

One AK-56 rifle with two magazines, one rifle, 57 rounds of 7.62 mm SLR, Kenwood Radio transceiver, one IED circuit, two hand grenade fuses, one solar charging plate and one leather belt for carrying ammunition were found, he said.
