Kejriwal's victory due to Modi's arrogance: Achuthanandan

Congratulating AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal for the landslide victory in the Delhi assembly polls, former Kerala chief minister V.S. Achuthanandan said it happened due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's arrogance and autocratic style of functioning.
"This is because of a strong stand taken by the people against the anti-people policies of the arrogant Modi's autocratic style of ignoring the people," Achuthanandan said in a statement issued here Tuesday as AAP was heading way ahead of its main rival Bharatiya Janata Party for registering a strong victory in Feb 7 assembly polls.
"Another feature of this election is that the Congress party like in other parts of the country has yet again been dumped," he added.
Incidentally, the CPI-M had supported AAP in 55 of the 70 constituencies in Delhi.
"Another feature of this election is that people will vote for those who are sincere and are willing to tackle the felt needs of the people and hence AAP has come out with a stunning performance," Achuthanandan added.
