Media Eye News Bureau: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee demanded a thorough probe into the Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud case and alleged that other banks are involved in the scam as well.

Mamata Banerjee expressed that the scam likely took place during demonetisation and that the PNB scam was only a fraction of a mammoth fraud on the Indian banks,

She tweeted, “Big money laundering happened during demonetisation. There are more banks involved. The full truth must come out.”

Banerjee also stated that many officials were changed in some banks during demonetisation and demanded an investigation into the people who replaced them and those involved in effecting the transfers or removals as well.
