Manmohan to resign tomorrow, Prez may invite Modi to form government
The PM Manmohan Singh is slated to resign on Saturday as the Congress has suffered serious drubbing in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

The election results trickled in from across the country indicating two-third majority to the BJP led NDA, which is leading in over 300 constituencies. The BJP alone is all set to bag 278 seats – a feat for which the Modi’s electoral strategy deserves accolade.

The saffron party springs big surprise in volatile UP, where it is heading to capture over 55 seats, almost routing the indomitable regional political outfits – the SP and the BSP. The caste equations, this time, played second fiddle to Modi’s development module.  In Gujarat – his home turf, the party is set to bag all the 25 seats while in MP the right wing outfit is leading in over 26 seats, leaving only 3 for the fledgling Congress.

While, counting is still in progress, the reports coming in from various counting centres constantly indicating thumping majority to the party. In Chhattisgarh it has almost bagged all the seats, leaving Ajit Jogi in the lurch.
The only silver lining left for the Congress is the two states: Kerala and Punjab. Even in Punjab, it is facing tough challenge from the AAP.
