Maoists torch two buses in Bihar

Maoists burnt down two buses in Bihar's Sheohar district on Wednesday, police said.

A group of armed Maoists forcibly stopped two buses and torched them in Belhiya area, a district police official said, adding there was no casualty.

"After the incident, the security forces have intensified combing operations against them," the official added.

On Monday, Maoists torched 32 vehicles in Gaya district and blasted a mobile tower in Saran district during a two-day shutdown to protest the killing of a woman Maoist leader.
