Meeting with Cameron positive, fruitful: Mamata

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Thursday said she had a "positive and fruitful" meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron, and that there was significant scope for collaboration with the British government in various fields.
"We are deeply honoured by the visit of the British prime minister to Kolkata. I had the opportunity to meet him for the first time. I found the British prime minister very vibrant. Our discussions were very cordial, positive and fruitful. I am very happy about it," Banerjee said on a social networking site.
Cameron, during his stopover in the city, held a meeting with Banerjee at the British Deputy High Commission. The meeting was also attended by state Finance Minister Amit Mitra, among others.
"There is significant scope for collaboration with the British government in the fields of education, culture, tourism, skill development, manufacturing industries, river-front development and so on," said Banerjee.
"He (Cameron) invited me to visit his country and I am indeed very happy," she added.
