Modi is dictatorial: Assam CM
Three days ahead of Narendra Modi's visit to Assam, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi Wednesday lashed out at the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, saying Modi sidelined other leaders of his party with his "dictatorial attitude".

"Modi has a dictatorial attitude. He is projecting himself as if it's a one-man show in the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has made all the senior BJP leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and others insignificant," Gogoi said.

The chief minister also said the Congress in Assam would counter Modi in a befitting manner.

"We are going to show Modi in terms of votes in the Lok Sabha polls. We are also going to organise a rally in Guwahati which will be for the youth and empowerment of women in Assam," he said.

Modi is scheduled to address a "Maha Jagran" rally in Guwahati Feb 8.Gogoi also said there was a nexus between the BJP and the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) led by perfume baron Badaruddin Ajmal.

"BJP and AIUDF have an unholy nexus and that's the reason why they have come together in nominating a common candidate for the Rajya Sabha polls," he said.
