Modi to file nomination on April 24: Amit Shah

Modi will file nomination from Varanasi on April 24, informed Amith Shah, the BJP’s election manager from Uttar Pradesh.
Shah said this would catapult the BJP’s wave into a full-fledged ‘tsunami’. He demanded probe into the Congress nominee from the Holy city, Ajay Rai’s ‘illegal’ rifle purchase. Baffled over the party’s silence over the issue, he said, ‘the Congress seems to have gone ‘bankrupt’ and shorn of any good candidates.’ He referred this to Ajay Rai’s ‘bahubali’ (anti-social) image in the area.
‘Modi’s rise to the position of PM will pull India from the catacombs of policy paralysis and non-governance,’ he said.Meanwhile, Ajay Rai categorically rejected the allegation and called the BJP ‘hypocrite’- referring this to the right wing party’s recent ‘money talk’ in Rajasthan, where its candidate from Alwar caught red handed in camera talking openly about purchasing voters to yoga guru Ramdev.
