Monorail to run from 6-8 PM from tomorrow
The monorail services between Wadala depot and Chembur will be extended to 14 hours—from 6am to 8pm—from Tuesday, the MMRDA declared on Sunday.

“The monorail will now ply from 6am to 8pm at a regularity of 15 minutes,” MMRDA joint project director Dilip Kawathkar informed.

Since February 2, when the monorail was unveiled, it has been running from 7am to 3pm at a frequency of 15 minutes. “We extended the timings to cater to the peak hour traffic,” said Kawathkar. This will also result in increasing the number of monorail services per day from 64 to 112.
