A 30-year-old man has maltreated and threatened an actor, Arpita Raichaudhury, after the latter’s car dashed his vehicle on the Malad Goregaon Link Road on Saturday evening.

 

This occurred around 9.45pm while returning from a mall where she along with her friends visited to purchase some costumes. Arpita’s friend said, ‘While returning, there was heavy traffic and by mistake Arpita’s car dashed an SUV. The enraged SUV driver got down from his car and started yelling at us. He abused Arpita who was at the wheel.” 
 

He further added that the SUV driver even warned them with dire repercussions and snatched Arpita’s car keys. “Meanwhile, someone clicked his photographs. The man, who was travelling with his family, started the car and drove a few meters. When he realized he had been photographed, he returned and handed over the car keys. By then, a police patrol team had also reached the spot and we all went to the Bangur Nagar police station,” he said.
 

The police has not registered any FIR till now.
