The Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express derailed Thursday in Cuttack near Nergundi railway station. There were 40 people injured. Five are reportedly critical. The mishap happened about 7 a.m. Around eight super fast express coaches derailed after hitting a guard van of a goods train between Salagaon and Nergundi likely because of dense fog, according to the initial report.
