Mumbai T2 airport, Sahar elevated road open for public
The most  awaited Terminal 2 of the Mumbai international airport and the Sahar elevated road corridor was opened for the public on Wednesday.

The 2.2 km Sahar elevated road that connects Western Express Highway (WEH) with the new Terminal 2 of the International Airport was inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan.

The Rs 400 crore project which missed several deadlines earlier, offers seamless and signal-free connectivity from Western Express Highway,

Motorists will be able to travel the distance in five minutes instead of the 30 minutes it currently takes because of traffic congestion on Sahar Road. The elevated road originates near Hanuman Nagar junction on WEH and ends at T2.
