Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif are expected to meet on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Geo News reported Thursday.

The meeting, which will focus on bilateral issues with an emphasis on tensions along the Line of Control (LoC) that divides Jammu and Kashmir between India and Pakistan, will be held in New York between Sep 26-27, diplomatic sources said.

Sharif is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly Sep 27 while Singh’s address is scheduled for the following day.
