Central Railway’s newly designed stretchers have been provided in second class compartment of a local train as a pilot project.

The brainchild of the CR’s General Manager and designed by Kurla carshed; this will provide a safe carriage to the injured commuters to hospitals. Divisional Railway Manager, OSD (Services), Mumbai Division and Secretary, Central Railway inspected the working of the stretcher.
