No scope for AAP in Delhi, says Advani

Senior BJP leader L.K. Advani Sunday asserted that given the political scenario in Delhi, there was no scope for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
The Bharatiya Janata Party leader, in conversation with journalists, said: "There was a time when only one party got all the votes, but we gave the people an option and created a bi-polar political system. I don't think that there is scope for a third party now."
The AAP has made the Delhi assembly elections a three-way affair for the first time. Till now, the electoral battle here was always fought between the Congress and the BJP.
Advani added that Delhi voters were smart and would vote for the BJP.
"The voters had not chosen us in the last elections, and we are to be blamed for that. But this time, things are different. The voters of Delhi are smart enough to figure out who is the better party," he said.
"People will vote for us, and we will win in Delhi," he said.
