No unusual delay in annou

On Sunday, the Election Commission answered questions about the delay in providing the exact voting percentages of the Delhi Assembly Election 2020 and 62.59 percent of the final vote turnout. "The final voter turnout was recorded at 62.59%," Delhi Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Ranbir Singh said on this day. Notably, Delhi had recorded a voter turnout of 67.47% in the 2015 assembly polls. He also addressed the earlier queries by saying that, as some had indicated, there were no unusual delays in announcing the number, explaining the late announcement by saying that some returning officers were busy with data inspection all night long to ensure its accuracy.
