Jharkhand: Growing his attack on Congress and its allies on a number of issues including the case of Article 370 and the case of Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that the opposition "deliberately" kept things stuck for a long time for "political interests." Addressing a public rally here, the Prime Minister said, "We tried to find solutions to these problems for the country's stability and social cohesion, issues that were deliberately kept stuck for a long time and which people motivated by political interests were trying to block." He said that the government resolved the conflict over Ram Janmabhoomi while "Congress and its allies dragged on for a long time." The five-phase Jharkhand Assembly elections began on November 30 and will end on December 20. Votes will be counted on December 23.
