New Delhi:On Wednesday morning, the Supreme Court will hear a batch of requests challenging the decision of the Centrer to repeal Article 370, revoking the unique status of Jammu and Kashmir.

The apex court will also hear requests seeking to remove further constraints, including communication blockades in the state, which are coming in the manner of reporters carrying out their professional responsibilities. While the petition against the removal of Article 370 was submitted by ML Sharma, the National Conference Leaders Mohd Akbar Lone and Justice (rtd) Hasnain Masoodi questioned the Centre's modifications to the constitutional status of Jammu and Kashmir.

They were also joined by former IAS officer Shah Faesal and former JNU student leader Shehla Rashid and several others, including eminent individuals such as Radha Kumar.
CPM leader Sitaram Yechury has also submitted a petition requesting the output of his party colleague Mohd Tarigami, who has been arrested by the police.
