New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Friday refused to entertain a petition seeking treatment of 'Vande Matram' at par with the National Anthem.

"We see no reason to entertain the petition," a Division Bench chaired by Chief Justice D.N. Patel and Justice C. Harishankar said during the petition's dismissal.

BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay's petition also requested instructions from the govt to take suitable measures to ensure that ' Jana Gana Mana ' and ' Vande Mataram ' were sung every working day in all schools.
