PM arrives In Jammu on two-day visit

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived here Sunday afternoon on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
He was received at the Jammu airport by Governor N.N. Vohra, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, legislative council chairman Amrit Malhotra, senior ministers and top officials of the state government.
The prime minister is scheduled to inaugurate the 101st session of the Indian Science Congress at Jammu University Monday.He is spending the night at the state Raj Bhawan.
Vice President Hamid Ansari, former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and around 8,000 delegates from abroad and from different parts of the country are likely to attend the Indian Science Congress session being held here Feb 3-7.
