PM Digitally Launches the Redevelopment Project of 554 Railway Stations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi digitally inaugurated the redevelopment project of 554 railway stations nationwide under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme this week. The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for the 1585 road over bridges and underpasses.

Before the inauguration ceremony, a programme was organised by the Central Railway at Byculla Railway Station in Mumbai in the presence of Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais.

The Governor thanked the Prime Minister for including 56 railway stations and 192 overbridges and underground passes in Maharashtra under the renovation project. The Governor also presented certificates to the drawing and essay writing competition winners.

Guardian Minister of Mumbai Deepak Kesarkar and Central Railway Ram Karan Yadav, general manager, were present.
