In a clear indication to resolve contentious issues rocking relations with India, the newly elected Prime Minister met Pakistan’s priemier Nawaz Shareef, Afghanistan’s prez Hameed Karzai and Sri Lankan PM Rajpaksha at Hyderabad House in New Delhi’s diplomatic enclave today morning at 9.30 AM.
External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj was present in the meeting.
He is slated to have dialogues with his counterparts from SAARC nations, particularly the Pakistan’s PM Nawaz Shareef on terrorism and bilateral trades. He may also take up the issue of Most Favored Nation Status which Pakistan has still not accorded to India after much speculation in the media.
