A teen-aged girl was molested by a 58-year-old employee of a power distribution company at a government dispensary in the Nehru Nagar area of southeast Delhi yesterday, police said. He is arrested by the police today.

 

The unpleasant incident occured when the 19-year-old girl and accused Gyan Prakash were waiting for their turns to be examined at the dispensary, a senior police official said.

 

"While waiting, Gyan started molesting the victim," said the official. The victim shouted for help, after which people there beat up Gyan. Later, police was called. A case has been registered.

 

"Based on the girl's complaint, police have arrested him and further investigations are on," the official added.
