New Delhi: On Friday, the 7th death anniversary of India’s former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna recipient Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a floral tribute and prayer meeting was held at his samadhi, ‘Sadaiv Atal’.

President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh participated in the floral tribute programme and prayer organised at the Samadhi of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee ‘Sadaiv Atal’. They attended the meeting and paid tribute to him by paying floral tributes.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s adopted daughter Namita Bhattacharya and son-in-law Ranjan Bhattacharya reached ‘Sadaiv Atal’ to pay their respects. 

BJP’s Union ministers JP Nadda, Piyush Goyal, Manohar Lal Khattar, Giriraj Singh, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Anupriya Patel and Jayant Choudhary, Sanjay Jha, Vinod Tawde, Dushyant Gautam, Radha Mohan Das Agarwal and Arun Singh from the NDA alliance who visited the late leader’s Samadhi.

Many party leaders also paid floral tributes at the Samadhi of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
