Amid demands for a larger role for Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in the Congress, the party Thursday said it wants all three members of the Gandhi family to lead it.

 

 Congress spokesperson Shobha Oza said party workers wanted all members of the Gandhi family to be active in politics.  Sonia Gandhi is the president of the Congress and her son Rahul Gandhi is the party vice president.

 

 Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka has limited her role to campaigning in Lok Sabha constituencies of her mother and brother.  However, there has been a demand from party workers that Priyanka should join active politics and such demands have gained more currency after the party's debacle in the Lok Sabha polls.

 

 "We want that all three of them should lead the party," Oza told reporters here Thursday answering a query.
