Mount Abu: The President Ram Nath Kovind said on Friday that convicts under the POCSO Act should not have the right to petition for mercy. He was speaking at the National Convention on ‘Empowerment of Women for Social Transformation’ at the headquarters of Brahma Kumaris in Mount Abu, Rajasthan. The President added that it is "the duty of every parent, every person, mine, yours to reinforce among boys the spirit of ' respect for women. '"
