Everything has been seriously vandalized in two Shiv Vihar schools in Delhi except one notebook left behind by a student in one of the schools which were targeted by rioters. Violence erupted in North East Delhi on Sunday and has been continuing unabated ever since.
The rooftop of the Rajdhani Senior Secondary School was used for launching petrol bomb and soon chaos started in the locality. After having done significant damages the rioters moved to the adjacent DRP School for doing the same, clearly exposing Delhi Police’s complicity and support for the rioters.
Both schools were substantially destroyed with benches of classrooms being reduced to ashes and walls turned into black after rioters threw petrol bombs. In Rajdhani School window panes were broken and principal room vandalized. Caretaker of the school was trapped inside the school premises for 48 hours and was consoled by the school owner who visited him later.
