Rs.260 crore for power subsidy in Delhi: Jaitley

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Friday announced Rs.260 crore for power subsidy in the national capital.
Jaitley announced the power subsidy while presenting the budget for Delhi in the Lok Sabha. He added that the budget for the national capital was Rs.36,776 crore. "No new taxes have been levied in this budget," the finance minister added. He added that a new medical college has been proposed to be set up in Delhi's Rohini area along with a multi-specialty hospital.
"…Considering the increased number of accident and trauma cases, 110 mobile ambulances will be deployed," he added. He also announced that a pilot scheme for one-stop centre for cases of sexual assault in some government hospitals will be initiated.
He announced more night shelters and community shelters in the city.
