New Delhi:The daughter of Mehbooba Mufti will be permitted to meet her in Kashmir, the Supreme Court said today, in response to today's petition. Sana Iltija Javed had said in her petition that she was concerned about the health of her mother because she had not met her in a month. Mehbooba Mufti, a former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister, was detained on August 4 along with hundreds of other legislators as a measure to avoid any disturbance or protest over the government's decision to terminate the state's unique status under Article 370 and divide it into two union territories.
