Security tightened at air

New Delhi: Following intelligence on possible terror attacks in Jammu & Kashmir, security has been tightened at airports. On Wednesday, the Civil Aviation Security Bureau ordered state police to conduct extensive random inspections of all cars approaching terminal buildings.

While instructions to improve vigil for Independence Day and Republic Day are given each year and access to visitors is prohibited, a new warning was released on Tuesday in perspective of the scenario in Jammu and Kashmir.

All vehicles, especially cars approaching airports, will be subject to extensive random safety controls at the vehicle inspection point a kilometer away from the terminal building,  adding inspections will continue until the end of August.
