On Saturday, Union minister Ramdas Athawale urged NCP chief Sharad Pawar to go to the NDA camp, suggesting he could be rewarded with a pen portfolio at the Centre. He said Pawar was also supposed to consider endorsing his rebellious nephew Ajit Pawar-sworn in as Maharashtra's deputy chief minister. "Sharad Pawar, too, should consider revising his stance and joining the NDA. He may get some good portfolio at the Centre," Athawale said.
