Spice Jet has appointed airlines veteran Shilpa Bhatia as its Chief Commercial Officer. The airline in its statement said that in her new role, Shilpa Bhatia, will report to Ajay Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, Spice Jet, and will handle revenue, sales and network planning.

For Shilpa, this is her third stint in Spice Jet, in her earlier role with the airline she had served as the Chief Sales and Revenue Officer. Earlier Bhatia had worked with IndiGo, Sahara Airlines, Amadeus and GMG Airlines.
