Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thakeray has expressed his displeasure over the portfolio allocations in the newly formed BJP led NDA government.
The saffron leader is incensed over the ministry allocated to its MP, Anant Geete who is given the Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises ministry.
Well placed sources divulged that the 18-MPs strong Sena was expecting as many as five posts – three cabinet, 2 MOS and 2 governors. Paradoxically, the party was given only one ministry.
The SS is likely to demand a better portfolio from the BJP for Geete and may ask for some more positions in the Cabinet.
Uddhav has called for an urgent meeting of Shiv Sena’s executive members to discuss the issue and chart out future course of action today in Mumbai.
