Six killed in Thane building crash
At least six people were killed and another 15 hurt when a residential building crashed here in Maharashtra early Tuesday, officials said.
 
 
 The three-storey, 50 year old building, Krishna Nivas, crashed around 2.30 a.m. when the residents were asleep.
 
 Thane Collector Ashwini Joshi, Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde rushed to the site to supervise relief operations.
 
 The fire brigade, NDRF, and other agencies are engaged in clearing the debris and rescuing the trapped and injured.
