Congress-NCP and BJP-Shiv Sena, both these groups are still busy negotiating seat sharing formula with their alliance partners. Till the time of going to the press the situation stays hanging as none of the alliances have been in a position to presents or get the seat sharing numbers upright.
BJP president Amit Shah met Udhav Thackeray and urged him to keep the 25 years old alliance intact. Sena insisted on retainining151 seats for itself and giving 119 seats to the BJP.
The BJP has turned down the proposed formula and have called for a meeting on Tuesday to decide this.
