New Delhi: Two of the four rapists who filed the last possible legal appeal against their death sentence in the Nirbhaya case drew a blank at the Supreme Court today. After an in-chamber hearing, a five-judge bench led by Justice N V Ramana dismissed Vinay Sharma and Mukesh's petition. The Supreme Court has already turned down applications for appeal against the death sentence from three of the convicts and turned down a mercy petition from a fourth.
