Kangra town, around 225 km from the state capital, experienced 21.2 mm of rain, the highest in the state. Sundernagar and Keylong towns saw 7.8 mm and 1 mm rain respectively.
Shimla, which experienced 4.6 mm rain, saw a low of 10.6 degrees Celsius, a fall from Sunday's 15 degrees Celsius.
