A terrorist and a soldier were killed in an encounter in Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning, an army spokesperson said. Police said three encounters broke out in various parts of Jammu and Kashmir between militants and security forces, reports Hindustan Times.
An encounter broke out early morning between security forces and terrorists in Dooru Shahabad in Anantnag district. Meanwhile, another encounter began at Noorbagh on the outskirts of Srinagar city where two militants are believed to be holed up, Hindustan Times reported.
A third encounter was underway between security personnel and militants in Budgam’s Chadoora town.
