New Delhi: On Thursday, the Supreme Court constituted a commission of inquiry headed by former Supreme Court judge V.S. Sirpurkar, former Judge Rekha Baldota of the Bombay High Court and former Director of the CBI. Karthikeyan, to investigate the' encounter' killing of the four suspects in the rape and killing of a Hyderabad veterinarian. The top court grilled senior lawyer Mukul Rohatgi, representing the Telangana government, on many aspects of the alleged state police encounter of the victim, and stressed that this incident should be investigated independently and impartial.
