Tibetan premier-in-exile condemns Paris attacks

Dharamsala, Nov 16  Tibetan prime minister-in-exile Lobsang Sangay on Monday condemned the Paris terror attacks that killed 129 people and injured 349 others and conveyed his condolences to the sufferers.

"I offer my sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims and strongly condemn the attacks undertaken by a few misguided fanatics," Sangay said in a statement.

"Terrorism is an attack on mankind and those who perpetrate such attacks do not represent any faith or community. It is a scourge and cannot be justified in any way," he added.

He said the Tibetan people stand united with the people of France in this painful time.

The Tibetan administration-in-exile is based in this small hill town in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.
