Eleven people have been reportedly killed when a compound wall of a godown collapsed at Uparapalayam in Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu early on Sunday.

Rescue operations to save people trapped in the debris are underway.

“Ten people are still feared to be trapped under the debris”, the fire brigade officials who reached the accident site within half an hour's time informed.
