50 houses are reportedly buried in a landslide that hit Ambegaon village in Pune early on Wednesday. Fifteen persons are feared dead in the sudden tragedy that visits this hamlet on the outskirts of Pune, while 120 people are still reported to be trapped in the debris.

Due to heavy showers since past night, Jambulwadi Lake in Pune is menacingly overflowing – the water being flooding the Ambegaon village. Though, the National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) team have arrived there, they are having a tough time to access the affected area and until now unable to reach the tragedy site due to heavy flooding there.
