BJP’s Haribhau Bagade , five time MLA from Aurangabad district, has filed his nominations for the post.

Shiv Sena has nominated Vijay Auti for the speaker’s post, keeping everyone guessing whether it will support the BJP government or sit in the opposition.

Congress has chosen Varsha Gaikwad for the post. The party has already hinted this. It will support speaker from any party except Shiv Sena.
