US President Donald Trump once again reminded the Government of India that the US is willing to mediate on Kashmir. Speaking on the Kashmir issue he said, “Anything I can do to mediate or help, I would do.”

Speaking about Pakistan, Trump said that Pakistan is working on Kashmir and the state has been a thorn in the relationship between the two countries for decades now. He further added that there are two sides to every story and that he discussed terrorism at length today.

Foreign secretary, Harsh Vardhan Shringla had earlier in the day said, “Discussion was centred on positive developments in Jammu & Kashmir. Things are moving in the right direction.”
