The Shiv Sena hit the Narendra Modi-led Center on Monday saying that the visit of US President Donald Trump to India would make no difference to the lives of poor and middle-class Indians. Sena welcomed Trump through an editorial in the Saamna mouthpiece and said India wants US companies. "Trump will be in India for 36 hours during which Indo-US trade deals will take place. Despite the economic slowdown, India needs US investment, helping the rupee recover." It took a dig a centre, however, saying that in 36 hours all economic problems cannot be solved. "When Trump leaves India 36 hours after his arrival, on India's soil there will be no signs of his visit," the Sena told.
