Uddhav Thackeray takes oa

Mumbai: Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray took oath as Maharashtra's 18th chief minister. The ceremony of swearing-in took place at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.

After Manohar Joshi and Narayan Rane, Uddhav is the third Shiv Sena leader to lead the state in Maharashtra. Six MLAs – two each from the Sena, the NCP and the Congress – also took oath as ministers along with Thackeray.
