Unnao Rape Victim Critica

.

New Delhi: The Unnao rape survivor, admitted to the AIIMS Trauma Center, stays critical and is on the life support system, said Tuesday a senior doctor at the hospital. The Delhi Traffic Police on Monday, developed a green corridor to move the rape victim to the Indira Gandhi International Airport's All India Institute of Medical Science Trauma Centre, covering an 18-minute distance of about 14 km.

"She is ill and needs medication to help her blood pressure on her life support system. The patient stays critical and undergoes therapy under a multidisciplinary team of physicians," said Dr. Rajesh Malhotra, head of the AIIMS Trauma Center.

The rape survivor, who faced critical wounds in last week's car-truck crash, was airlifted from Lucknow to New Delhi on Monday night for further medication following directives from the Supreme Court in this respect, police said.
